Dimensioning is the technical process of annotating drawings with measurements and construction details. In these projects, I apply industry standards to clearly communicate sizes, clearances, and material specifications, ensuring designs are both functional and buildable. These drawings demonstrate a thoughtful process for documenting creative concepts through clear and professional technical documentation.
DIMENSIONING FLOORPLAN FOR A RESTROOM
A dimensioning floorplan for a restroom. In this floorplan we also have an elevation view and a power and lighting plan. An elevation view is a two-dimensional drawing of a wall showing the vertical relationship between walls, windows, finishes and fixtures.
DIMENSIONING PLAN FOR A HOTEL ROOM
In this example, a furniture plan is included, showing the client the intended placement of the furniture.
